First Supper

Tonight we had our first dinner in our new home (insert hearty cheer). Some people use china, we used paper bowls. Some like to eat by candle light, we used headlamps (and tried not to blind each other by looking someone directly in the face!). And who needs an electric range when you have a wood stove at your disposal?

On other fronts, the living room is now free of all nasty carpet as well as all the tar paper that was laid under said nasty carpet and about seven garbage bags of debris are sitting on our porch awaiting a trip to the dump. If you need to feel like you've accomplished something for the day, I suggest filling seven bags of trash from your house. It's a great sensation.

And thus ends another day at the Boydstun place.
